Koboji Shingon Mission is an active urban temple on the island of O’ahu. We follow the Koyasan Shingon-shu tradition of esoteric Buddhism as compiled by Kobo Daishi (Kukai). ​We invite you to experience the warmth and consideration of Kobo Daishi with our members and friends. ​

Since our founding in 1947, Koboji has supported thousands of families from around the world. We follow the traditional prayers and rituals of Koyasan Shingon-shu under the leadership of Rev. Bryan Yanagihara.
